News Release from Ontario Government :
Dr. Paul Dungey, Regional Supervising Coroner for East Region, Kingston Office, today announced that an inquest will be held into the death of Soleiman Faqiri.
Mr. Faqiri, 30, died on Dec. 15, 2016 at the Central East Correctional Centre in Lindsay. An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act.
The inquest will examine the events surrounding his death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing similar deaths.
Details regarding the date and location will be provided at a later date when the information becomes available.
