We are witnessing far too many Canadians, who are struggling with mental illness, not receive proper and sufficient support. Without adequate mental health resources, many end up in conflict with the law and incarcerated. Tragically, we have witnessed too many people with mental illness in these situations without adequate care end up losing their lives.  We call for full accountability and public transparency when these tragedies occur.
